Terms of Service

Seithithalam News Platform (hereinafter referred to as “Seithithalam”, which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context or meaning thereof, be deemed to include its affiliates, partners, representatives and permitted assigns) provides the user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) access to news content, articles, information resources, communication features, public interaction spaces and other digital services through its website and mobile applications (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”). These Terms of Service govern your use of the Service. All amendments, policies and operating rules issued by Seithithalam from time to time form an integral part of these Terms.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF SERVICE
The Service is provided to the User subject to the Terms of Service contained herein. These Terms constitute the complete and final agreement between the User and Seithithalam and supersede all prior discussions, understandings or agreements relating to the subject matter. The User is advised to read these Terms carefully before browsing, using or registering on our website or mobile application. Accessing the platform or using any content or services shall be deemed as the User’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy, which forms an inseparable part of this document.

Seithithalam reserves the right to change, alter or remove any part of the Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated version becomes effective immediately upon posting. Users may review the “Last Updated” date to monitor changes. Continued use of the Service signifies the User’s acceptance of the revised Terms.
MODIFICATION TO THE SERVICE
Seithithalam reserves the right to modify, restrict, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part thereof at any time without obligation to notify Users. The User agrees that Seithithalam is not liable to the User or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.
THE SERVICE
The Service is intended to provide Users with access to news content, articles, reports and publicly available information across various domains. Seithithalam does not sell products or services through its platform. Some content may be sourced from third-party sites, agencies or public sources, and Seithithalam does not archive or store copies beyond what is required for publication. Seithithalam ensures that its systems do not place undue load on third-party servers.
USE OF SERVICE
The software, platform technology and all underlying infrastructure belong solely to Seithithalam. The User agrees not to copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive source code from any part of the Service. The User shall comply with all copyright notices and restrictions associated with any content accessible through the Service. Seithithalam is not responsible for delays, inaccuracies or errors in content received from third-party sources.
The platform may include links to external websites, resources or advertisers. Seithithalam is not responsible for the availability, content or practices of such external sites. Users must direct concerns about external content to the administrators of those sites.
USER CREATED CONTENT
Users may submit comments, opinions, feedback or other content on Seithithalam’s platform. Users are fully responsible for such content and agree not to post anything unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing or otherwise objectionable. Seithithalam reserves the right, without obligation, to remove or edit user content that violates any law, policy or guideline. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and for all activities occurring under their account. Seithithalam shall not be liable for any loss, misuse or unauthorized access. Users agree not to impersonate others or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity. Any violation may result in termination of the account. Users may receive promotional or informational emails based on their opt-in preferences.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Seithithalam does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, availability or timeliness of the Service nor does it guarantee that errors will be corrected. Seithithalam is not responsible for any products, information or services offered on third-party websites.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Seithithalam shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, business loss, system damage or unauthorized access.
CONTACTING THE USER
Where permitted, Seithithalam may share non-personal usage information with advertisers or partners without revealing the User’s identity. Users may opt to receive promotional communication from third-party partners.
TERMINATION
Seithithalam may terminate or suspend access to the Service at its sole discretion for any violation of these Terms. IP addresses may be blocked if necessary.
MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Users agree that courts located in Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining Terms shall continue in effect. No waiver of any provision shall be effective unless in writing. Any legal claim must be filed within one year of the cause of action.
